HCRA Volleyball On-line Sign Ups will begin Tuesday June 15, 2010 and will end on Saturday July 31st. HCRA will be beginning a new volleyball league that will be part of the Williamson County Parks & Recreation league. Our hope is that we will have our own teams from here in the Spring Hill/Thompsons Station area, just as we do for baseball, softball and basketball. We are planning on having practices at our local schools and are hopeful to have our games at the Longview Rec. Center, rather than having to drive into Franklin each week. We will have 3 divisions from which to choose: Introductory League - This is a coed training league for 4th and 5th graders designed for players interested in building the basic volleyball skills. Games will be played with the Volley-Lite ball and players do not have to serve from behind the baseline. $50.00 Intermediate League - This is a coed league for 6th, 7th & 8th graders who are beginners interested in learning and improving on the basic volleyball skills. These are players who have not played before or did not make their middle school team. Games will be played with regular volleyballs and will not be required to serve from behind the baseline. (Although encouraged to) $80.00 Advanced League - This is a coed league designed for 6th, 7th & 8th graders who have Middle School or Travel Volleyball experience. Player will be required to serve from behind the baseline and are encouraged to serve overhand. Games will be played with regular volleyballs and will be played according to TSSAA rules.
